La Salle students and staff came together for the last time seniors would be on campus all day: St. La Salle Day.
Taking place on the last traditional school day before dead week, St. La Salle Day is an annual event functioning much like a field day, with students free to wander through the hallways, courtyards, and gym and enjoy many different activities present around campus.
In the morning, around the time of the first bell, students attended the talent show and spring sports recognition assembly, celebrating the talents of all students and honoring the varsity boys tennis team for their third consecutive state champion title.
Afterward, students were released to the carnival portion of St. La Salle Day, with activities such as chess in the main hallway, spike-ball and cornhole games, a boba truck, a carnival swing ride, an obstacle course, and a game of wipeout.
When the carnival was shuttered, students returned to the gym for a class versus class volleyball tournament, which ended with the seniors on top and the juniors in second place.
Finally, to end the day, all non-senior students lined the gym and exit, forming a tunnel for the senior clap out.

St. La Salle Day is one of my favorite days of the year. Seeing students have fun with each other, celebrate the hard work they have done all year, bond over games, cheer for their class, lift up the seniors and so much more- it is one of the days that makes La Salle such a special place to be.
