Rita Tran, Assistant Editor
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, senior Rita Tran loves being able to step outside and be surrounded by all the nature around her.
She loves being able to spend time outside any chance she gets, from playing tennis, swimming, or going on picnics with friends.
Rita is involved in many different communities, such as the AAPI club and her church, St. Rose of Lima, where she loves being able to converse and get to know all of the people there.
In her free time, Rita loves to relax around the house with her family or cook and taste all different types of foods. So far, her favorite food ever has been her family’s homemade mushroom pizza.
Still not completely sure of what she wants to pursue in the future, Rita hopes to do something related to biology and science which are two of her favorite subjects. She also wishes to be able to travel out of the country to places such as Vietnam and Greece to expand her scope of the world.
