Esmé Ryznar, Editor
Senior Esmé Ryznar is currently in her fifth semester of Journalism. Moving here from Alaska roughly 14 years ago, she enjoys the rainy weather and atmosphere of Oregon.
Coming to La Salle simply because her brother, Dylan Ryznar, attended, Esmé has since found herself participating in many activities, engaging in the opportunities presented to her, and loving the community at La Salle.
Esmé has played soccer since the age of four and participates in the soccer team at La Salle as well as running track in the spring. In addition to this, she is a member of the Earth Club, Pickleball Club, Keeping the Faith Club, and a few more.
On the weekends, you can find Esmé playing guitar, doing her homework, playing in a soccer game, or practicing violin — an instrument she has played since the age of five.
Having left the country twice, once on a road trip to Canada and once on a school trip to Spain, Esmé loves to travel and take photos, which she did a lot in Spain. She hopes to someday visit Paris and Australia, while continuing to practice photography.
In the future, Esmé hopes to attend college with her brother at Kenyon College in Ohio, where she will continue playing soccer and running.
