Sophomore Taryne Steinman was born in Sacramento, California, but moved to Happy Valley, Oregon at the age of three. Living in Oregon today, she loves the greenery and the diverse climate.

Outside of La Salle, Taryne is a part of a competitive dance team that she has participated in since she was three. She has found a strong community and passion through dance and has created life-long friendships.

On the weekends, Taryne is often at dance competitions or shopping with her sister.

Taryne hopes to travel out of the country more, to places like Paris or Greece. She also wants to visit other places around the world to try different foods.

After La Salle Taryne hopes to attend college, possibly pursuing a career in medicine. She also wants to participate in a college dance team.
