Sophomore Azlyn Kannow, who was originally brought to La Salle by her older brother, began her role as a journalist this year. 

Although she has been more interested in video games than writing throughout her life, she was brought to journalism to strengthen her writing skills. Alongside video games, she also enjoys doing art, with her favorite forms being digital drawing, painting, and sculpting.

Because she has been playing soccer for about 10 years, it was really no surprise that she turned to soccer stories to write about. 

She enjoys hanging out with her family and friends most of the time, but she also enjoys being alone to chill. 

Having two cute cats that she absolutely loves, Kannow is definitely a cat person, if she had to choose, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love dogs — just that she enjoys hanging around cats more.
