About the Contributor
ThuyAn Nguyen, Staff Reporter
Junior ThuyAn Nguyen has spent her entire life in Portland. She appreciates all four seasons, even though it mostly rains in the Portland area.
Since the age of 6, ThuyAn has been a figure skater. She has moved to multiple different ice rinks, first starting out at the Lloyd Center.
Activities that ThuyAn enjoys are swimming, camping, and reading — because it allows her to escape reality and to be away from stress. She absolutely loves swimming — even though the only chance she gets is during the summer — because being in the water makes her feel at peace and free from stress too.
ThuyAn has always had a dream to travel the world. Her goal is to first visit the Eiffel Tower by the age of 24 — her golden birthday. She plans to travel there solo first and later with a group of friends to enjoy the amazing foods. Later, she would love to travel to Italy and Greece to create memories with the people she loves.
