La Salle’s girls varsity volleyball team added another victory to their season record on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The game also served as Future Falcon Night for the team, and the stands were packed with enthusiastic young fans.
The Lady Falcons won the first three sets, ending with a final score of 3-0. The first set finished with a score of 25-4, the second with 25-12, and the third with 25-17.
The theme of the game was pink out in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which saw both players and spectators participating with pink apparel and accessories. Many athletes wore pink glitter and temporarily colored their hair.
On one end of the court, pink ribbons with writing from the volleyball team were also attached to the wall in another show of support.
The next game scheduled for the volleyball team is on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 6:45 p.m. at Wilsonville High School.
