Senior Zach M has lived in Oregon his whole life, and throughout his entire time there has been very interested in writing.

Zach always had many ideas to share and would often expand upon his interests in specific pieces of media by writing fan novels about them. He always had more to say in writing assignments in school, and would almost always go over the word count limit.

His interest in writing led him to take Honors English II, AP English 3, and AP English 4. In these classes, his writing abilities continued to grow and his interests began to shift. Although he still held his original interests, essay-type writing and expositions now became a forte of his. This interest is what led him to try Journalism as another writing frontier.

Zach hopes to be able to take his writing to new heights and grow all aspects of his abilities through his Journalism journey.
