Lizzie Ceballos, Staff Reporter
Lizzie Ceballos is currently a junior, and this is her first semester in journalism. Her favorite things to do are going to new concerts and playing with animals.
If not at school or hanging out with her friends, Lizzie works a job at Sparky’s pizza in Damascus, which she spends most of her afternoons doing.
Lizzie loves listening to all genres of music, her favorite artists being Zach Bryan, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, and Clairo. She loves exploring new songs and enjoys recommending her favorite albums to her friends and family.
Lizzie’s favorite place to visit is Colombia, located in South America. Her father’s side of the family lives there, and she goes to visit them every other year. She loves the unique architecture and food, along with communicating with people, as it allows her to practice her Spanish speaking skills.
In her free time, Lizzie is currently learning Guitar, and she spends about a half hour every day experimenting with new chords and learning songs.
Sometimes, Lizzie volunteers at animal shelters, to spend time and play with animals that are less fortunate.
In the future, Lizzie plans to go out of state for college and major in business.
