Elsie Buczkowski, Editor
Senior Elsie Buczkowski has lived in Oregon her entire life. Previously attending Happy Valley Middle School, she decided to attend La Salle for high school in search of a smaller community and coursework to prepare her for college.
In the winters she enjoys skiing, and in the summers she enjoys stand-up paddleboarding and hiking. She loves going to concerts and visiting the Oregon coast.
Her favorite class is Advanced Journalism. She appreciates The Falconer because it gives her opportunities to share her passions with the community while also covering events and issues that affect La Salle.
She has two dogs named Lulu and Kenny, a cat named Cookie, and a rabbit named Bunny.
Elsie excels at making two meals: breakfast potatoes and coconut ramen.
Elsie’s favorite book is “She Said” by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey. Her favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Fiona Apple, and Joni Mitchell.
Although she is unsure of where college will take her, she knows that she wants to pursue Environmental Studies and Journalism.
