Freshman Claire Norquist has lived in Oregon her whole life with her two younger siblings. Before coming to La Salle, Claire attended All Saints Catholic School. 

Claire participated in track and cross country throughout middle school and plans to continue to do so at La Salle. After making varsity last cross country season, Claire is hoping to sustain that position. 

Writing creative stories as a younger teen inspired her to apply for Journalism. Her parents also encouraged her to join Journalism. 

Outside of school, Claire likes playing football with her siblings and blasting country music with her dad on the drive home from school. Claire’s favorite thing to do on the weekends is to hang out with her friends, and watch both the NFL and college football. Claire is a huge Buffalo Bills fan and hopes to see them in the Super Bowl next year. 

As she is a freshman, she doesn’t know what her future holds, but she is along for the ride and ready to explore and try new things.
