The La Salle Falcons varsity girls basketball team fended off Rex Putnam High School, improving their record to 16-5 with a 52-34 win at 6 p.m on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
A defensive first quarter led to the Falcons gaining a lead that they kept adding to throughout the game, with their largest lead being over 20 points.
The Falcons’ next game is at Parkrose High School on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m.
