Spring Has Sprung at La Salle: A Photo Story

At 8:06 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, the sun’s rays hit the northern and southern hemispheres of the planet equally, marking the beginning of the spring season. This is otherwise known as the spring equinox

On this day —  normally occurring on the 20 or 21 of March, but is different since it is a leap year — the amount of light and darkness will be equal and after this point our days will get longer, with more hours of light than dark.

With the beginning of spring comes the symbolic new life as the weather gets better and the plants begin to bloom. To commemorate this occasion here is a gallery of photos showcasing the beginning of spring at La Salle.
