For their final regular season match, the La Salle boys soccer team faced off against Centennial High School in the Nest on Thursday, Oct. 26. The Falcons were able to give their graduating seniors a fitting going-away present, prevailing by a score of 3-0.

Before the game, the team celebrated seniors Kevin Serrano-Maldonado, Keadin Henry, Breslin Nichols, Eldon Nichols, Isaac Lyon, Jasper Gilley, and Wyatt Schmidt with flowers, balloons, and pregame family presentations.

Centennial fought valiantly, but the Falcons were in control for most of the game. Freshman Vala Saghafi got the scoring started in the first half, followed by second-half goals from Serrano-Maldonado and sophomore Cooper Eldon to reach the final score of 3-0.

The Falcons finished the season with the no. 3 ranking in 5A, and will play Silverton in the first round of the playoffs at home on Wednesday, November 1.
