In her free time, senior Hannah Whiteside enjoys watching different types of movies, reading books, spending time at the beach, and traveling.
Hannah has lived in Happy Valley for most of her life, except she was born and spent the first few months of her life living in Bend.
She likes traveling and has been to most of the fifty states. She has been to fun and random parts of the country because her father constantly moves around for work. Her favorite cities she’s visited are Seattle, Washington, San Francisco, California, and, oddly, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Hannah’s favorite place to visit within the Oregon border is Cannon Beach. She likes the small town feel, but also having Seaside nearby.
She no longer plays sports for La Salle as she did freshman and sophomore year, but she has continued playing soccer on an indoor team in Tualatin.
Outside of school, she enjoys reading, but typically only on the weekends because that’s when she finds the time. However, with a lot of free time this summer Hannah read seven books.
Hannah’s not sure what she wants to do in college, so she is going to take a gap year after high school.
