Marlo Varga, Staff Reporter
Having lived in Oregon her whole life, freshman Marlo Varga attended St. Clare School before coming to La Salle — where she was drawn to the supportive and welcoming community of students, teachers, and staff. She was very excited to become part of a school community that values growing in her academics and faith. Marlo was the only person from her middle school’s class of 2025 to attend La Salle, giving her the opportunity to branch out and form new connections.
At La Salle, Marlo plays volleyball and competed on the varsity team this fall. She also plays club volleyball during the offseason and plans to participate in flag football this coming spring. Being involved in sports at La Salle has been an important way for her to meet new people and stay active during her freshman year.
Outside of school, Marlo enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. She also enjoys listening to music whenever she can and discovering new artists. She also enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering and participating in service.
