Senior Lucy MacNeela has lived in Portland, Oregon her entire life and enjoys exploring different parts of the city. 

Outside of school she enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops with friends and family and working part-time jobs after school and on the weekends. Lucy loves to go shopping and find new thrift stores around Portland. She has also recently taken up knitting, which her grandma is teaching her how to do. 

In the future, Lucy hopes to travel around the globe. Right now, the places at the top of her bucket list are Japan, Switzerland, and France. 

She joined journalism last semester and has enjoyed every second. Lucy hopes that through these involvements she can amplify the voices of others and help create change.
