Harper Coleman, Editor
Junior Harper Coleman originally came to La Salle because of her older brother. She has lived in Portland for nearly her whole life, and before arriving at La Salle, attended St. Agatha Catholic School from pre-K on.
This is her third semester of journalism, and she is an active member of La Salle’s theater program as an actor and crew member. Harper loves the passionate environment of the theater and the people in it, and plans to stick with it for the rest of her time at La Salle.
Harper also participates in the ambassador program, and she loves to travel. So far, Harper has been to 15 states and wants to eventually visit the rest.
Harper enjoys reading books and watching movies with her family, as movie nights are a big part of her family life. Her favorite genres of both books and movies are horror and sci-fi, and she has an interest in science and space.
She enjoys taking road trips and hiking in national parks but also loves local spots such as Silver Falls. Harper intends to study on a pre-med track in college and wants to work in the medical field in the future.
