Not only are water bottles practical, but they can also become a reflection of their owner’s values, personality, experiences, and interests.
Some elements on a water bottle might have a deeper significance, like a sticker from a music festival that serves as a reminder of a night well spent. Others might represent something small, such as a miniature rubber duck on a keychain that brings someone joy because of its color.
However, not everyone has a particular water bottle — nor does everyone choose to customize it if they do. But no matter what the sticker, keychain, or dent may represent, there is a story to be discovered behind it.
Creativity and self-expression shine through in the choice to include any decorations on a bottle, or none at all.
So, I went to answer this question: why do people adorn their water bottles the way they do?
