On Saturday night, May 18, 2024, La Salle students dressed up, took pictures, and danced to booming music under the lights of The Aerie at Eagle Landing in Happy Valley. Originally “Midnight Shimmer,” this year’s prom theme was changed to “Enchanted Night Under the Lanterns” based on the Disney movie “Tangled”. To reflect this, The Aerie was decorated with twinkling lights and lanterns with the signature “Tangled” flower as seen in the movie, as well as the movie playing in the background of the dance.
Located on a golf course, students could take breaks from the main ballroom to enjoy mini golf, play games on the lawn, and experience the rotating photo booth: a camera attached to a stick that rotates around the base of a podium where the students stood. The result is a 360° video so that students could get shots from all angles.
