Despite constant rain and frigid temperatures throughout the day, La Salle’s cross country team competed in the 5A State Championship meet, which was hosted by Lane Community College. The girls’ team sent freshman Ella Manson, juniors Maya Crimin, Kari Yatsushiro, and Melly Riel, and seniors Meredith Shea and Anne Rust to the meet, with Crimin leading the pack with a 12th place finish. Senior Sean Snow also finished in 20th as the Falcon boys’ sole representative.

Correction: November 9, 2023

A previous version of this article stated that Sean Snow came in 12th place when he in fact came in 20th.
