On Monday, March 20, the La Salle varsity baseball team defeated West Salem High School. The final score of the game was 8-5 making the Falcons record 2-1.

After the game, players went to the newly enclosed hitting facility to talk to prospective students from Future Falcon Night, a night when future students interested in La Salle and a certain sport come to a game to hear from the team, coaches, and Director of Athletics Mr. Chris George.

“It’s just fun, having a lot of people out and just watching us play,” said junior Austin Stephens in regard to Future Falcon Night.

To start the game, senior Finbar O’Brien hit a home run and later on, sophomore Max Bishop hit a double, resulting in two runs to be scored. Throughout the game, senior Finbar O’Brien, juniors Gavin Kim and Roman Jensen, and sophomore Mason Chapman all pitched.

The next home game will be on Thursday, April 6, against Ridgeview High School.
