Last week, La Salle students participated in a school spirit week by dressing up as a different theme for each day of the week, all corresponding to the “Wizard of Oz” themed homecoming dance, “There’s No Place Like Homecoming.”
Monday’s theme was “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore,” where students dressed up in a country theme.
On Tuesday, students wore outfits from their favorite decades for “Click Your Heels To A Decade.”
On Wednesday, students carried their favorite stuffed animal for “Bring your Toto to School.”
Thursday’s theme was “Poppies Will Put You to Sleep,” where students showed up to school in their pajamas.
Spirit week concluded on Friday with the theme “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” where students were encouraged to wear orange for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, honoring the survivors and victims of the Indigenous residential boarding schools.
