La Salle Track Team Beats Rex Putnam During Senior Night

Senior Murphy Schuster wore a costume during the 100-meter race as he participated in senior night activities.
Sophomore Sean Snow ran in the 800-meter event and won with a time of 2 minutes, 11.17 seconds.
Senior Seth Wobig was announced and recognized during senior night alongside his mother.
Senior Katelyn Yarno-Bakke participated in the shot put event, and threw the 4-kilogram ball 23 feet, 2.25 inches.
Senior Peter Fengler-Johnson was announced at senior night, and he was accompanied by his mother and La Salle’s athletic trainer, Stephanie Morgan.
The track team gathered around to do a team cheer before the meet started.

On Tuesday, May 3, the La Salle track team went head to head against Putnam High School. It was also senior night where seniors were recognized for what they had achieved in high school.
Members of the team participated in various events such as the pole vault, 110-meter 39-inch hurdles, 300-meter 36-inch hurdles, and the 4×400 meter relay.
Districts for track and field will be on May 12 and May 13 at Wilsonville High School. Those who qualify for state will be competing on May 20 and May 21, at Hayward Field.
