On March 16, 2022, the dance team held a showcase in the gym to perform their state routines to the La Salle community.

“I’m very proud of this team and all the hard work that’s gone into this,” head coach Nikki Meyer said. “I had no idea how much I would get attached to these kids, so tonight is very, very emotional for us.”

The event was especially important to the team because it will be their first time at an OSAA state championship, and it is the last year for the seniors who helped found the team, which originally started as a club, to participate.

“I’m very excited,” said senior Audrey Wersch, who helped found the team. “We’ve all just worked really hard, and it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for the past four years.”
