As a senior, Loryn is excited to finish her last season with her team.

  • Why is softball your favorite sport?

Softball is my favorite sport because I have gained an amazing relationship with my father, but I have also made some wonderful friendships that will last a lifetime and I am truly grateful for what softball has given me.

  • How many days a week do you practice/workout?

I practice/workout every day of the year. The only time I get a break from softball is during the month of November.

  • What is your favorite softball memory?

My favorite softball memory was hitting my first home run, rounding all of the bases only to be greeted by all of my teammates at home plate. That is a memory that will last forever.

  • How do you think the La Salle season is going to go?

I definitely think that we have some tough teams to beat but it is nothing that we can’t handle.

  • Who is the toughest league opponent?

I would say the toughest league opponent would be either Rex Putnam or St. Helens because I know and played with many of the players on those teams.

  • Why do you like pitching?

I like pitching because of how much it has taught me over the years. I have become a much stronger player and person, both physically and emotionally and I think that it all because of pitching and the life lessons that I have learned throughout my softball career.

  • How long have you been playing softball?

I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old.

  • What is your favorite softball season?

My favorite softball season is during the summer, because my travel ball team gets to travel all over the United States to play in tournaments.

  • What do you look forward to during high school softball season and/or college season?

I am really excited to finish up my last year of high school with an amazing group of girls plus Marcus and Spencer team as managers. I cannot wait for team bonding and all of the great memories we will all share together.

For college, I am really nervous but I cannot wait for the experience, I know that playing in college could only help further my softball career and for that I am truly grateful.
