Project Unify Basketball Update

Clarice Beasley, Editor

The Project Unify basketball teams are ending the season on a strong note. On Saturday, January 24th, teams “Red” and “Blue” placed second in their divisions at the Forest Grove Invitational. It was a long day, totaling around 6 hours of intense games.

There were two very memorable moments that stood out, a game winning shot by Michael O’Keefe and another one by Wilson Link, assisted by Austin Olsen. The team finished the day off winning 2nd place overall in the tournament.

On February 13th, the team took on Forest Grove for a second time, and won both games. The highlight was the level of sportsmanship displayed from every player.

The Project Unify state tournament takes place on March 14th, in Turner, OR.
