“I think the key to winning this game was just executing what we have been working on all season at practice”

After that, the team struck fire and scored two more goals in the first half which would end up leading them to victory. Aleah Goodman, a sophomore at La Salle, was assisted by her sister Tori Goodman from a throw in and scored the second goal of the game. Shortly after, Tori, a senior at La Salle, scored the third and final goal of the game. After the game, Aleah stated that “after two years of trying, we finally got a sister to sister goal!”

The team was also lead to victory by Senior Co-Captain Kate Christoferson. “I think the key to winning this game was just executing what we have been working on all season at practice,” said Christoferson. “I think the next game will be tough, but if we come out and play like we know how to pay we have a very good chance at winning this game.”

The girls team will be traveling to Bend this weekend to play Summit at 12:00 on Saturday, November 8th, and they are looking for a big win over the number 4 ranked team in state. With practice and preparation all of this week, they are hoping to come out on top Saturday.
