An Introduction: Transfer Students

Clarice Beasley, Editor

Each year, La Salle welcomes freshmen and transfer students on September 2nd, also known as Orientation Day. Orientation Day, which is planned and executed by La Salle’s LINK crew, works to connect all of the incoming students with each other. However, after that day, it is all too easy for the transfer students to become lost in the shuffle of unfamiliar faces, new hallways, and the confusing multiple lunch schedule. To help these faces become a little more familiar, we decided to catch up with the transfer students after they’ve had a few weeks to acclimate themselves to La Salle and give them a chance to introduce themselves.

This year we have 11 students from all different backgrounds joining us, ranging from seniors to sophomores. There are 5 sophomores, 4 juniors and 2 seniors.
