Junior Kayah Cieslak has lived in Portland, Oregon, all of her life — despite moving from one household to another. With her all-time favorite book being “The Little Prince,” she has a deep appreciation for media in all its forms, like movies, music, and books. Her favorite music artists currently — although her rotation changes frequently — are beabadoobee, Panchiko, Radiohead, Starflyer 59, and Zild.
Her favorite classes include Advanced Journalism, AP English 3, and Catholic Moral Thinking/Catholic Social Teaching because each subject has something she takes special interest in.
In her free time, she enjoys watching films, especially sad ones, and is always looking for more recommendations that will make her feel absolutely gutted. Another favorite pastime of hers is going out to restaurants or cafes with friends because she loves to try new dishes or find comfort in ones she’s familiar with.
A perfect day for her would look like snuggling with her two cats in bed accompanied by a delicious meal here and there.
