Esmé Ryznar, Assistant Editor
Junior Esmé Ryznar is currently in her second semester of Journalism. Moving here from Alaska roughly 14 years ago, she enjoys the rainy weather and atmosphere of Oregon.
Coming to La Salle simply because her brother, Dylan, attended, Esmé has since found herself participating in many activities, engaging in the opportunities presented to her, and loving the community at La Salle.
Esmé has played soccer since the age of four, and participates in the soccer team at La Salle as well as running track in the spring. In addition to this, she is a member of the Earth Club and Pickleball Club.
On the weekends, you can find Esmé playing guitar, doing her homework, playing in a soccer game, or practicing violin — an instrument she has played since the age of five.
Only having left the country once on a road trip to Canada, Esmé hopes to someday visit Paris and Australia. She also plans to visit every state in the U.S. during her life.
In the future Esmé hopes to attend college, possibly in California, and pursue a career in science and nature.
