In order to pay tribute to the month of April, The Falconer’s masthead took an artistic approach by including the Earth and coordinating colors.
March 2023
During the month of March, The Falconer displayed a masthead with symbols for both St. Patrick’s Day and Women’s History Month.

To represent February, a pink theme was used along with a heart to symbolize Valentine’s Day.

For the month of January there were drawings of a disco ball, moon, and party hat to represent New Years at the start of the new year.

This image depicts a snowy scene accompanied by a snowman, candy canes, a Christmas tree, and the falcon who is sporting a Santa hat to represent Christmas in the month of December.

The illustration of falling leaves and warm colors are used to represent fall and the changing of leaf colors that come along during that time of year.

Connected with April’s header to represent the saying, “April showers bring May flowers,” colorful spring flowers surround The Falconer logo while the Falcon takes up the job of a gardener.

In recognition of Women’s History Month in March, the “O” of The Falconer is replaced with the symbol for female, alongside hands raised in fists with painted nails.

To celebrate Student Press Freedom day on Thursday, Feb. 24, The Falconer masthead features multi-colored stars and confetti, and the Falcon dons its press badge and fedora.
