Over the weekend on Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25, the qualifying athletes of the girls varsity tennis team competed in the OSAA Girls Tennis State Championship.

Singles player junior Kennedy Harris qualified for state, going into the tournament seeded No. 1 and winning 7-5 6-1 against Crescent Valley High School’s Emily Gu. She’s now a three-time state champion.

Seniors Eunice Li and Isabella Hanna-Barofsky qualified for the doubles tournament, ending up as runners-up for the consolation bracket. In addition, sophomore Kaitlin Carter and junior Ava Donnelly qualified for doubles, seeded No. 2.
