A total of nine seniors on the La Salle varsity baseball team were celebrated through a presentation and a recap of their favorite memories with the team before their final home game took place with families in the stands.

The team held their second to last game on Wednesday, May 15, in a home match against Rex Putnam High School that resulted in a loss of 4-5. The game ended with a controversial call by the umpire which caused the batter to strike out, resulting in heartbreak for La Salle players and the parents.

The team’s next game will take place on Friday, May 17, in an away game against Rex Putnam for the second match of their series and the last game of the Falcons’ regular season.
