No matter what type of music you are into, there is a wide range of musical artists coming to the Portland area in the coming months. Here’s a look at their upcoming concerts:
KYLE:
Los Angeles-based rapper, singer, and songwriter KYLE will stop in Portland on “The Lightspeed World Tour”, his biggest headline tour to date. The tour is based around his debut studio album Light of Mine. The show is on October 13 at the Roseland Theater, and general admission tickets are still available for $27. Billie Eilish:
Rising 16-year-old Los Angeles-based star Billie Eilish will kick off her North American headlining tour in Portland on October 23 at the Roseland Theater. The “1 By 1 Tour” will feature her “don’t smile at me” EP and most recent single “you should see me in a crown”. The North American portion of the tour is completely sold out, but you can still find tickets on resale sites.

Arctic Monkeys:
After a five year hiatus, the indie rock band from Sheffield, England released their sixth studio album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino in May. “Do I Wanna Know?” was the first Arctic Monkeys song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band will be playing in at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on October 24, and ticket prices begin at $39.95.

Drake and Migos:
“Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” is a co-headlining tour by Canadian rapper Drake and hip hop trio Migos, founded in 2008 in Georgia. Migos has two platinum albums, and their most recent album is Culture II. Drake is the RIAA’s top certified singles artist ever with 142 million certified units, and his most recent album Scorpion was released this June. The tour does not have a stop in Portland but will be in Seattle at the Tacoma Dome on November 1. Ticket prices start at $75.

Russ:
Atlanta-based hip hop artist Russ will make thirteen stops across the U.S. for the “I See You Tour Part 2”. Russ is the first hip hop artist to go platinum with no features or production help, and his new album ZOO was released on September 7. “What They Want” was his first song to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Portland show is on November 13 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, with ticket prices starting at $22.95.

Louis the Child:
Louis the Child is a Chicago-based EDM duo consisting of Robert Hauldren and Frederic Kennett. The duo has performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival, and more. The “Dear Sense Tour” title comes from their latest single “Dear Sense (with MAX)” released in August. There will be two Portland shows at the Roseland Theater on November 29 and 30. The second night was added after the first show sold out. General admission tickets are available for $25.

Aminé:
Portland-based rapper, singer, and songwriter Aminé recently released his second studio album ONEPOINTFIVE in mid-August, which inspired the tour title, “TourPointFive”. His debut single and smash hit “Caroline” has been certified triple platinum, and the music video features Aminé and two of his friends at Mike’s Drive-In in Oregon City. Aminé will have two hometown performances on December 20 and 21. Night two is sold out, but night one tickets are available for $25 for general admission and $75 for VIP.

Travis Scott:
Houston-based rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer Travis Scott recently released his third studio album titled ASTROWORLD in August, which became the basis for the tour title, “ASTROWORLD: Wish You Were Here”. All three of Scott’s albums have been certified platinum. The tour stops in Portland at the Moda Center on December 22 with prices starting at $26.95.

Hippo Campus:
Indie pop-rock band Hippo Campus is from St. Paul, Minnesota. Formed in 2013, the four-piece band recently released their second album Bambi at the end of September. They have played support shows for acts including Walk the Moon and Saint Motel. Hippo Campus was named one of NPR Music’s favorite new artists of 2017. Their show at the Crystal Ballroom is next year on February 4, and general admission tickets are $26 and meet and greets are $99.

Shawn Mendes:
20-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes released a self-titled album earlier this year in May. He will embark on a fourth headlining tour next spring to support this third album. Mendes is on the 2018 Time 100, an annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world named by Time magazine. He is bringing “Shawn Mendes: The Tour” to the Moda Center on June 12, and tickets start at $47.50.
