2015 is full of great music that I personally like. Here are my top 8 songs: “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, “Earned It” by The Weeknd, “Sugar” by Maroon 5, “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding, “Shut Up And Dance” by Walk The Moon, “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran, and “G.D.F.R” by Flo Rida featuring Sage The Gemini and Lookas.

“See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth is a great song. It fits well in the “Fast & Furious 7” soundtrack and is the perfect tribute to Paul Walker, the actor who portrayed Brian O’Conner in the “Fast & Furious” franchise and died in a fatal car accident before the filming was complete for “Fast & Furious 7.”

My personal review on “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars is that I find it very catchy. The song does live up to its name; it brings the spirit of Uptown to life and is very funky.

My opinion on The Weeknd’s “Earned It” is that it is extremely catchy and is just an overall good song. The more I listened to it, the more I found myself liking it. The song sets a mysterious tone and tells the story of two lovers who feel broken inside.

“Sugar” by Maroon 5 is very catchy with its high pitched singing done by the band’s lead singer, Adam Levine. Its tune resembles some of the band’s earlier music from the early 2000s when the band was first starting up.

Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” is a personal favorite around La Salle. It’s catchy,  the lyrics are well written, and it is heard all over the radio, so how can you not like it? It’s really fun to jam out to this song in my car when no one else can hear or see me.

“Shut Up And Dance” by Walk The Moon is a catchy song. The lyrics tell a story about a man dancing the night away on the dance floor with a girl. I wouldn’t want the song on my phone but I never change the radio station when I hear it.

“Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran is one of my “favs” on this list so it makes sense that it has been playing on the radio for almost nine months now. Everytime I hear this song I can’t help but sing along and try my best to hit all the high notes.

Flo Rida, Sage The Gemini, and Lookas’s song “G.D.F.R.” is another one of my favorite songs on the radio right now. Every time I hear the chorus I can’t help but sing along with Flo Rida. I also love the upbeat tone the song has and how it sets the mood of a party no matter where you are.
