Sophomore Trey Williams moved to Oregon about eight years ago. He likes the weather but misses the heat and culture back in his hometown of Alaba, Ethiopia.
Trey was attracted to La Salle by his friends and the education that the school offers.
He loves playing sports, mainly football and basketball. He plays football for La Salle and participates in competitive basketball outside of school, hoping to try out a new Amatuer Athletic Union team this year.
Trey not only enjoys a variety of sports but loves to make music, all of which is rap. He makes his own beats at his friends’ studios and he will create his own lyrics.
Depending on how his junior and senior year goes, Trey is hoping to go to the University of North Carolina after he graduates from La Salle.
