Celebrating Easter and reflecting on the legacy of Pope Francis in the wake of his passing, La Salle students and faculty gathered in the gym for Mass on Wednesday, April 23. After opening remarks from Director of Campus Ministry Mr. Carter Powers and senior Trey Williams, Fr. John Marshall highlighted the importance of the Easter season in his homily, focusing on the story “The Road to Emmaus” along with the role of Jesus and his followers in accompanying people who feel lost.
To conclude the Mass, Dean of Students Ms. Kenzie D’Ambrosio gave announcements to the students, including revealing that there were candy-filled Easter eggs hidden throughout the school and courtyards for students to find.
