The La Salle Theater Department opened their annual winter show, a series of one-acts entitled “Originals,” on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
Featuring shows directed, designed, and produced by students, “Originals” emphasized themes of drama, mystery, and self-expression. It included six performances: “The Curious Session of Eugene Pennywinkle,” directed by junior John Rask Jr., “Roses,” directed by senior Bailey Fronk, “Machine,” written and directed by junior Miles Timberlake, “The Tragedy of Goodman Brown,” directed by senior Sayre Albert, “The Secret Origin of Mojo Man,” directed by senior Andy Dinh, and “Trapped,” written by Albert and directed by Fronk.
The production ran through the weekend, wrapping up with a matinee on Sunday, Jan. 12.
