On Thursday, Sept. 12, La Salle, ranked #9 in 5A, competed in an intense showdown against Glencoe High School, ranked #6 in 6A, which resulted in a 4-3 loss for the Falcons during their second home game of the season.
The Falcons got off to a rocky start, allowing three goals to Glencoe by the end of the first half, which left off with a score of 0-3.
However, they sparked a come back with the help of senior Vance Sheffield scoring three goals, two of which happened in the final minutes of the game.
Despite their fierce battle in the second half, the Falcons were unable to catch up, resulting in a 4-3 win for the Glencoe Crimson Tide.
The next game is set to take place at home on Sept. 26, at 7:00 p.m. against Canby High School.
