The first boys volleyball game of the year took place on April 9, at 6:00 p.m against Estacada High School in the Brick Oven. Bringing in a 2-1 victory, the team ended the game with a third set score of 25-16 and took home the program’s inaugural victory.

The boys volleyball program was started by senior Tyler Smith, who played high school volleyball last year, but for another school. As a result, he felt inspired to bring the sport to La Salle and start a team. He was then supported by sophomore Evan O’Neil, who also has experience with boys volleyball and helped him find the team’s current volleyball coach, Dennis Zhukov.

The next match will take place on April 11 against Central Catholic High School in the Brick Oven.
