To celebrate the year coming to an end, La Salle students attended the annual St. La Salle dance on Thursday, May 25.

To fit the theme of “Summer Palooza,” the cafeteria was decorated with inflatable palm trees and beach balls, as well as a bubble blowing machine and streamers that welcomed students to the dance floor.

Students danced to music provided by the DJ and were treated with snow cones in the courtyard, aligning with the summer theme. The photobooth in the hallway gave an opportunity for students to take photos with their friends.

The dance was free to attend, so any La Salle students were able to go. For students who had RSVP’d, they were entered into the raffle to win a summer-themed basket. There were two baskets filled with a towel, a gift card, and some other summer items. The winners were junior Layne Portash and sophomore Jadzia Marsh.

Prior to the Summer Palooza, the seniors attended their senior barbecue, and then were able to come and hang out at their final high school dance. With St. La Salle Day taking place the next day for students, they were able to continue taking a step back from stress and have fun while attending the carnival.
