On Friday, Nov. 4, La Salle’s varsity volleyball team traveled to Forest Grove High School to play in the OSAA quarterfinals.
No. 6 La Salle fell to No. 3 Crater in three sets. The first set ended with a score of 25-19, the second set 25-13, and the third set 25-17.
This put them into the consolation bracket at the state tournament where they played No. 7 West Albany, and the game went to five sets. The first set had a final score of 25-23, the second set 25-12, the third set 14-25, the fourth set 22-25, and the fifth set 15-11. La Salle made a comeback after being down 0-2, but eventually lost in the fifth set.
The team ended with an overall 20-6 record, and a 14-2 league record.
