On Thursday, Oct. 27, varsity girls soccer defeated Centennial on the team’s senior night. By the mercy rule of an eight point deficit, the game ended early with a score of 9-1.

The team is graduating seven seniors: Maia Gutmann, Emma Buchanan, Sophia Hauer, Mia Middendorff, Emelia Warta, Clare Daudelin, and Allison Weber. 

Five of the team’s nine goals were scored by Emelia Warta, two by Mia Middendorff, one by Natalia Gonzalez, and the final goal of the game was scored by Emma Buchanan.

The team will move on to the playoffs and compete against Springfield High School in the first round. The game will be played at Hamlin Middle School on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
