On Monday, Sept. 26, La Salle varsity boys soccer played their first league game against Putnam. The game resulted in a decisive victory for La Salle with a final score of 6-1. 

One of La Salle’s goals was an own goal by Putnam, and the remaining five goals were scored by Seamus Gwyn, Samuele Marquez-Stock, Breslin Nichols, Declan O’Brien, and Vance Sheffield.

The win against Putnam gives the team a 5-1-2 overall record and a 1-0 league record. The team is currently ranked #5 in OSAA 5A.

The team’s next home game is on Monday, Oct. 3, vs. league rival Wilsonville.
