La Salle Football Team’s Last Home Game of the Season Caught On Film

After a brief break from their game schedule, the football team was able to make a comeback and is now finishing out the season.

Freshman Mason Mueller ran past the outer defense of Rex Putnam High School and leapt into the air to catch La Salle’s first touchdown of the game; his team members came running to congratulate and share the moment with him.

“It was my first varsity touchdown,” said freshman Mason Mueller. 

The La Salle football team competed against Rex Putnam High School on Friday, Oct. 16. Despite the loss of 42-14, the team was able to frequently break through Rex Putnam High School’s defense. 

Members of the team and crowd were dressed in pink to show their support for the team and to spread awareness of breast cancer.
