Flannels Aren’t Just for Lumberjacks

Amanda Stewart, Staff Reporter

Throughout any time of the year, flannels can often be seen incorporated in many different outfits at La Salle. Flannels can complete a stylish look while still being comfortable and simultaneously helping students to meet the dress code.

Flannels can be worn with vests, open with a top under, or even tied around the waist. They can be paired with anything and will always look great. Below are a few students spotted around La Salle wearing flannels in their own unique way.

Junior Brock Nichols wears a bright flannel with a yellow shirt and light jeans. All of these pieces come together to form a perfect spring look.

Flannels can be purchased at many different stores, including for a bargain price at second hand stores such as Goodwill and Salvation Army. One popular place to buy new flannels is at Pacsun, which carries many different brands including Brandy Melville. Forever 21 and the BP section of Nordstrom are also great places to look.

Flannels can work well with any outfit and are always easy to find at stores. Pair a flannel with any look you are trying to achieve and you are good to go!
