Abraham Scales, Staff Reporter
Sophomore Abraham Scales has spent most of his life moving around throughout Oregon, living in seven different homes. He loves the lush and cold environment of Oregon, enjoying the rainy days it brings with it.
You can usually find Abraham outside on the weekends, kayaking, swimming, running, hiking, and even spelunking. While he likes the darker days of Oregon, Abraham takes advantage of the sunny weeks to enjoy the outdoors in a new light.
Abraham has also taken his school career very seriously, currently holding a Naval Science Award from The Office of Naval Research and an honorable mention in Energy and Environmental Engineering from past science fairs. He continues to work hard to get into a good school in the future.
Though his real passion lies in aviation, as he hopes to attain his private pilot license before he enters college. After his La Salle career, Abraham wants to use this license to learn how to fly commercially or possibly enter the military.
