Sophomore Jack Schweitzer was born in Bend and moved to Happy Valley two years later.

Prior to coming to La Salle, he attended Christ the King from kindergarten to eighth grade, and decided to come to La Salle to be with his friends and because his mom is an alum. He enjoys the community and athletics here.

Jack is a part of La Salle’s baseball and football teams, and his favorite class is Honors English II, which he likes because of the atmosphere and teaching style. He also spends time as a peer tutor. This is his first semester in Journalism.

Outside of school, he spends time with his friends, family, and dogs. He also enjoys traveling, hoping to one day experience South America. Jack is interested in music, playing multiple instruments, and he enjoys listening to it as well.

After graduating, Jack aspires to attend New York University for college, possibly playing baseball and majoring in business or finance.
