Greta Dazer, Staff Profile
Greta Dazer is a current sophomore who came to La Salle from Mt. Tabor Middle school in Portland, Oregon where she has lived her whole life.
Planning to move out of Portland the summer before freshman year, Greta chose La Salle as her top option for school since it’s close to the designated area her family was looking to move to. Although the move did not happen, Greta still decided to stick with La Salle and has gotten used to the long commute from her childhood home in Portland.
Greta has always had a passion for writing, making English her favorite subject in school. She also enjoys the subjects of math and Spanish as well. Coming to La Salle has definitely opened up many opportunities for Greta such as Journalism and taking on tennis as a new spring activity.
Greta has been playing soccer since she could remember. Inspired by her dad, she became a goalkeeper at age six and has been pursuing that position to this day. Making the varsity soccer team at La Salle her freshman year was one of Greta’s biggest accomplishments for herself and believes that the team and soccer community has brought great value to her La Salle experience.
